What are humic acids?
natural chelating complexing acids that can contain more than 70 types of minerals that are essential for the proper life cycle of plants.
Humic acids are natural chelating complexing acids that can contain more than 70 types of minerals, such as calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron, that are essential for the proper life cycle of plants. With light metals, they form moderately strong bonds so they can be easily utilised by plants, but form a strong bond with toxic heavy metals in the soil that plants cannot break down, thus, e.g. good quality crops can also be grown on arsenic-contaminated soils.
Most of the benefits of our product line are due to humic acids:
- up to 50% higher crop yield
- deficient element replacement
- increased resistance
- higher content value
- soil improving effect
- treatment of deficiency diseases
- more competitive, higher quality product
- decreased unmarketable harvest rate
- stronger components
Why is soil conditioning important?
In agriculture, there is an increasing problem of soil depletion, which is often counterbalanced by organic fertilisation or artificial fertilisation. However, this is not economically advantageous because most of the nutrients applied are not utilised.
The presence of a nutrient is not enough in itself, it must be in a state that can be absorbed by the plant and used up in the most effective way.
The product line of HUMINPOWER helps in this.
Humic acids serve as nutrients for soil micro-organisms and worms.
By increasing the soil’s humic acid content, it is possible to increase soil life, thus producing an increasingly thick layer of humus. All this can also be easily checked. According to experts, the humus content of our soil is adequate if we find at least 2-3 worms in a shovel hole. If you have less, you should definitely treat your land with humic acid. Another important advantage of the presence of worms is that they loosen the soil, making it easier for plants to grow their roots.
It is not uncommon for farmers not to pay sufficient attention to the soil. It is important to know our soil in order to achieve the right crop quantity and quality. We need to know its structure (packed, loose), its pH (acidic, alkaline), its water retention capacity, its biological activity etc. If we know these details, we can achieve close to ideal soil quality by using the appropriate tools.
Our HuminPower G granular product improves soil structure due to its nature. Working it into the top layer of the soil loosens packed soils. As a result of our products, the humus content of the soil grows so that the structure of the soil that has drastically deteriorated can be restored. Our soil improving substances are slightly alkaline, therefore they buffer acidified soils, i.e. help restore ideal pH levels.
What makes a bio product bio?
In the European Union – and therefore also in Hungary – only those products can be labelled as bio/eco/organic, etc. which comply with the national and community legislation applicable to them, and have a certificate issued by a Hungarian certification body.
Our products were controlled and certified by Biokontroll Hungária Nonprofit Kft.
